I just love those days when I can pamper myself even in the tiniest
possible way. For the past week, I have been bothered by the mishaps at
work, specifically on my training. My training for a process, is
currently delayed and I blame the uninvited bugs
who came to party on our software we were supposed to use. Just so they
know, they caused delay and my schedule is now screwed. On other
note, I have accomplished tasks more more mooore
than the load I should
have done. I am raising my forehead on this. I think I did a good job.
Kudos to me! Due to the semi-stress and for the job well-done, I'm patting
myself on the back through a well-deserved pamper -- sauna and massage.
Teehee.
I have been a client of BioEssence ever since I gave
my Mom a facial treat last year. No, this is not a paid nor a sponsored
post. I wish it is. Imagine me having facial, sauna and massage for
free! Anyway, moving forward, since it's already
a trusted service for me, I gave them the privilege to make me feel
relaxed and taken care of even just for a fraction of a day.
I opted for their one hr full body massage. It comes with a sauna. I felt like I've lost quite some grams of fat that took me years to gain. But that was overacting. Haha! The sweating made me feel cleansed. And then the massage came afterwards. It was soooo good that I died. Ok, not really, but I feel asleep. The thorough massage from the scalp to the tips of my toes made me feel rejuvenated afterwards!
But what's far more interesting that Sundays bring? It is the Word of God that relaxes the soul, brings peace to the mind, heals the heart and enlightens the spirit. This Sunday I felt at peace with myself. Every day we struggle -- from getting out of the sheets to what's going on in our head and even to what the heart feels. But each and every time I talk to my Potter, nothing is more peacemaking than what He does to me. Struggles are bearable because you know your Potter is with you. Those struggles aren't meant just to merely stress you out, for just nothing. They turn and mold you into someone better, always someone better from that someone a minute ago. And then I found myself ready to face what's ahead of this week.
These are what Sundays may bring...
This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
-Psalm 91:2, NLT
