92. today's a holiday so i found time to write this entry

Time to wrap up June with some feel-good entry (I really don't know if this entry will make me feel good after writing it, haha).

First things first, I wanna mention the name President Noynoy Aquino, aka PNoy, here just cos he's the reason why I don't have work today cos he had been inaugurated and is now Philippine's president. Wow. I must be really getting old. I've been under 5 administrations.

I'm supposed to write this entry last Sunday but things got worst so I just decided to sleep the depression away and succumb on eating sweets and chocolates.

I have made myself clear many times already that I'm a frustrated musician, particularly a frustrated pianist. And I blame no other than myself as well for this frustration. Here's the story. I started attending piano lessons as early as 7 yrs old and I really can't remember when I started to decide to just skip the classes and eventually told my Mom that I don't want to study music anymore.

That's a photo of me during my first recital. I played 3 piano pieces including Minuet in G.

And then there was a time I started learning the chords so I can play the organ and then I got lazy again. I told you it's really a fault of mine.

Until I realized I really want to play. I have this desire to play and I, myself, think that it might be too late but I still told myself that it's never too late to learn. And a little dream came true last Sunday. Yes, I'm part of this band who did a cover of Chris Tomlin's Chosen Generation (my sister's playing the electric guitar). Despite technical problems, it feels so good to be able to play again. I just can't explain the feeling. I want to totally reunite with these ebonies and ivories. I mean totally. I've made this decision and I need a lot of action.

I've also been attending this class. I'm aware how the Bible is the most interesting book I know but I didn't know it could get even more interesting until I attended this class. I'm lovin every bit of the class despite the really-not-so-short memory verses we need to memorize every week. I'm excited to learn Greek!!

Last Sunday, the teaching during our youth service was about "Waiting for your meant-to-be//Choosing your mate. There was this checklist and I'm afraid only Choi Siwon meets it. Brb, flying to Korea for some proposal.

1-2-3 Whateverisms:

  • Let's say hello to 2010 2nd half with positive outlook.
  • I'm excited for this weekend. LASER TAG!!!
  • I have an ongoing not-so-lame-neither-so-interesting story being unfolded on my LJ blog.
  • I badly need shopping.
  • I'm wanting chocolates right now.
  • I miss miss miss miss my online friends.
  • I want my work station to be where the internet kiosk is at the 9th floor!
  • I've fallen.
So I stand with arms high and heart abandoned...
