117. The Art of Making Others Happy

Making others happy is an ultimate goal. While making others happy, there is also the feeling of inner joy, of fulfillment, when you know you have been a part of someone's happiness, when at times, you are the reason why they feel happy.

This is what I felt when a Pastora in our church told me "Tinupad mo ang pangarap naming makarating sa Makati.." Simple words but touched me deeply. It was only a simple dream, I'm thankful that I, together with my family and boyfriend, have been instruments in making this a reality.

116. The Last 2011 Saturdate

It is just now while I'm writing this blog that I realized that yesterday was indeed our last Saturdate for 2011 (2012 is fast approaching!). The following Saturdays are bisperas for Christmas and New Year and as much as I/we would love to spend it together, I'm bound to go to the province up north for a mini Reyes reunion. And he, of course, needs to spend it with his relatives. I am not sure about the New Year but his Mom's coming home.

M:I4 Ghost Protocol and Christmas shopping was our plan and kudos to us we stick to the plan!

Hold on... We were supposed to watch the movie last Friday before heading to work, but he had "something to do" so I just waited and spent some me-time hours inside a coffee shop along Ayala, (and that I was able to move forward reading Pygmy.)

115. The Distracting Centerpiece (the Christmas so-called Party)

the distracting centerpiece
The title itself tells you how I didn't enjoy much the company Christmas party (which was held @ Sofitel). I don't blame the events planner/s or committee or whatever. It's just that, a few days before Christmas and I. STILL. DO. NOT. FEEL. THIS. SUPPOSED-TO-BE-JOLLY-SEASON. How sad, right?

114. Happy 11th

I prayed and then he came into my life. And we're now spending happy days together -- will spend more blissful days in the future.

I think this is the first ever blog post about our day (except for the birthday/our-day). We go by really simple -- our happiness is simply being with each other.

Or might I say, we celebrated it in advance last Saturday. We went home together to my residence (since he's supposed to accompany me for a job interview early Saturday which didn't push through). Our late midnight snacks was well-served at Shakey's, Times. Went home and did some computations on our tax (lol our kind of bonding) and had some sleep. We left home past lunch -- to Makati malls first then to our favorite Ayala Triangle Gardens. We have been there last week and have already watched the Spectacular Spectrum, but still we watched it all over again from a different angle. Then we went to RP Manila wherein we did some shopping for outfits for the company Christmas party. After shopping, we had our dinner and finally watched The Adventures of TinTin.

For the day itself...

I made a personal card instead of buying one. Seems like I already bought each kind of the 'monthsary' card available in the bookstores.
