Meeting people and eating while catching up must be one of the good things this life has to offer. I feel delighted that all throughout this year, I was able to squeeze in such meet-ups despite the corporate-slave-busyness I have. Sometimes one just need to unwind through talking to different people and maybe gain new perspectives, insights, get encouragement, or allow someone to absorb whatever emotion you may emit. Tapos ikain mo lang in between! Life can simply be that amazing. There is this feeling of being blessed with great people; this is besides having a very supportive boyfriend.

Another impromptu cocol night with my lovelies. I just got back from Hong Kong so apart from the catching up, I took it as a chance to give them my pasalubong and our “friendship necklace”. Haha! And by the way, it’s been quite a long time since we last had our coffee session in this Starbucks branch we used to frequent years back.

Tin had her vacation in South Korea and I, as mentioned above, have been to Hong Kong. What to do but to have some travel experience exchange over pizza and pasta at Nolita. Of course, time ran out so fast. I missed her!!

After months of delay, dinner with Levi finally pushed through. That was some sumptuous dinner that we had coupled with updates and career talks and of moving about. To top it all off, Slice’s Double Choco Yema cake is sooooooo yummy!!!

I and Jezraiah are getting used to this lunch date thing. It’s slowly becoming a regular since we’re both working in BGC. And yet, the camwhores that we are would still take photos. Akala mo ‘di madalas magklita haha!

Ta-daaaaaaaa! It’s Cheerlyn Magpantay! Randomly bumped into her inside one of the Makati malls doing her shopping haha! And since we haven’t talked and saw each other for soooo long, we, together with Luke, has some good catching up! Haha! Sige na nga, namiss kita Cheer!
2013 is about to end, and looking back through my blog, there’s quite a number of posts vis-à-vis eat-outs with different people. I admit that it’s somehow burning the pockets, but first, it allows me to explore food and restaurants with people who matter to me; second, it gets me out of the usual everyday box I am in; and lastly, it’s like a refresh button each time I talk to different people, I always feel grateful afterwards – and that is more than coffees or lunches are worth of.
